LynCor ProH - Our redefined laser camera sensor

Written by Fredrik Bergkvist | 22 October 2026

At ALUMINIUM 2026 we launched LynCor ProH, our new laser camera sensor for precise, non-contact molten metal level measurement in aluminium cast houses. It is the first product built on LynCor, our new common hardware and software platform for molten metal measurement and control.
More LynCor products will follow, all sharing the same connectivity, monitoring and diagnostics.

Since 1995, we have helped cast houses worldwide improve the precision, safety and reliability of molten metal handling. With LynCor ProH, we bring that experience into a new generation of sensors built for greater visibility and control. LynCor ProH can be configured with two lasers for measurement redundancy, comes with a choice of blue or red laser and has a built-in web interface for live camera streaming, calibration and sensor status.

Dual laser. Redundancy by design

In a dual laser configuration, two independent laser sources measure the molten metal level. Measurement redundancy is built in by design which makes it possible to achieve a more reliable level reading where it matters most.

Two lasers also make different wavelength combinations possible, opening new possibilities for demanding applications. For applications where one laser is enough, a single laser configuration is available. Together with the choice of blue or red laser, we configure LynCor ProH for your installation conditions and application.

Full control, without unnecessary software

The built-in web interface gives operators and maintenance teams live camera streaming, calibration and sensor health status directly in a browser. No additional software or hardware is needed. Fast industrial communication allows straightforward integration with existing PLCs and automation systems, without dependence on cloud connectivity.

Camera frames and measurements are stored on the sensor. Recording comes with advanced triggering options, and recordings can be replayed in the browser and exported. That gives your team recorded evidence for troubleshooting and for analysis after a cast. Firmware can also be updated easily in the field.

This is LynCor ProH

By combining reliable measurement with intelligent monitoring and diagnostics, LynCor ProH helps cast houses improve safety by reducing the need for manual checks near molten metal, and increase process stability through precise measurement and automated level control. More consistent casting conditions help reduce waste and energy consumption, while faster troubleshooting and more effective maintenance minimise downtime. LynCor ProH is also simple to integrate into both new and existing casting lines.
