This Actuator is primarily used to control the flow of molten metal through the exit tap hole of a stationary furnace. The TXP-6E is equipped with a failsafe emergency close mechanism based on air pressure. In case of emergency situation the actuator will close and limit the metal flow, even in case of electricity loss.
The actuator is equipped with a built in 4-20mA position feed back. Adjustable speed, travel length, holding force, closing force and open force.
