Sustainable technology for molten metal applications

At Precimeter, sustainability is part of how we work, how we design our products and how we support our customers.
We develop sensors, actuators, electromagnetic pumps and control systems for molten metal applications. Our technology is used in foundries, cast houses and light metal production around the world, with a strong focus on aluminium, aluminium alloys, direct chill casting, primary aluminium production, secondary aluminium production and recycling.

For us, sustainability has two sides.
First, we take responsibility for our own environmental impact through structured environmental management, continuous improvement and ISO 14001 certified processes. Second, we help our customers create safer, more stable and more resource efficient casting processes through automation, molten metal level control and flow control.

Certified environmental management

We are ISO 14001 certified. This certification gives us a structured framework for managing environmental responsibility across our operations. It helps us work systematically with environmental goals, follow up our progress and improve over time.
Our environmental work is connected to how we design, produce, transport and improve our products. It also supports our broader responsibility as a supplier to the global metal casting industry.

Environmental management in daily work

We work continuously to reduce the negative environmental impact from our operations and products. Our environmental policy guides this work and helps us identify where we can improve. This includes:

    We work to prevent waste in our own operations and use sorting and recycling routines for the waste that is produced.

    We support recycling internally and see circularity as an important part of the future for aluminium and light metal production.
